Next time, skip the trip to the bank and deposit checks into your checking account wherever you are whenever you want. Mobile Deposit is the most convenient, easy and secure way to deposit checks. If you haven’t already enrolled for Mobile Banking, sign up today and look for the Mobile Deposit feature located on your mobile app!

How it Works
On the back of each check, sign your name and write “For Mobile Deposit Only” (or if available, check the box that reads: “Check here if mobile deposit”).
Log into Mobile Banking using your mobile device.
Select Deposits at the bottom of the app.
Select Deposit Check.
Select the account you wish to deposit into.
Enter the check amount you are depositing.
Take a photo of the front and back of your check.
Click Next.
Confirm your deposit details and tap Yes or No.
Mobile Deposit Tips
Use these tips to help you successfully complete your mobile deposit.
Endorse the back of the check and include “For Mobile Deposit Only” below your signature (or if available, check the box that reads: “Check here if mobile deposit”).
Make sure the check amount entered matches the actual check amount.
Take the photos of your check in a well-lit area.
Ensure the check is not damaged or wrinkled.
When taking a photo of the check, be sure all four corners are visible.
Place the check on a flat, dark surface with sufficient lighting when taking photos.
Funds will generally be available for withdrawal one to three (1-3) business days from the day of the deposit.

To use Mobile Deposits, you’ll need the following:
A checking account
Be enrolled in Online and Mobile Banking
Download the Pickens Savings & Loan Mobile App from your app store
Your check could have been rejected for several reasons including:
Your check exceeded the daily limit of $1,500.
Your check was not endorsed.
Your check image was not clear.
Your check was a duplicate deposit.
At any time, you can see the status of the deposit by selecting Deposits and then View Deposit History. Once your deposit is accepted, it will turn green within Deposit History. Funds deposited through Mobile Deposits will generally be available for withdrawal one to three business days from the day of the deposit.
You can deposit checks payable in U.S. dollars and drawn at any U.S. bank, including personal and business checks. The check must also be payable to, and endorsed by, the account holder.
Checks payable to any person or entity other than the person or entity that owns the account into which the check is being deposited.
Checks payable jointly, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees.
Checks containing an alteration on the front of the check, or which you know or suspect are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn.
Checks drawn on a financial institution located outside the U.S.
Checks not payable in U.S. currency.
Checks dated more than six (6) months prior to the date of deposit.
Checks that have previously been submitted through Mobile Deposits or through a remote deposit capture service offered at Pickens Savings and Loan or any other financial institution.
Checks or items that are drawn or otherwise issued by the U.S. Treasury Department.
Checks drawn on a home equity line of credit, or other convenience checks.
Traveler’s checks, money orders, or savings bonds.
Checks without a check number in the MICR line at the bottom of the check.
Checks without an account number in the MICR line. (Example: counter checks)
Checks encoded with a dollar amount.
Checks with writing or printing that obscures any part of the MICR line.
Funds deposited through Mobile Deposits will generally be available for withdrawal one to three (1-3) business days from the day of the deposit. However, funds may not be made available to you for longer periods of time under certain circumstances. Deposits are subject to limits, verification and other restrictions, as outlined in the Pickens Savings and Loan’s Mobile Banking Agreement.
At any time, you can see the status of your Mobile Deposits by selecting Deposits and then Deposit History within your Pickens Savings & Loan Mobile App. If your check is rejected you will be notified by email from mdeposits@pickens.bank to the email address associated with your Online Banking account or by a phone call from our Customer Service Department.
Securely store your check for 14 calendar days after your deposit (this allows sufficient time in case the original check is required for any reason). After 14 calendar days, destroy or shred the check.
There are no fees to use Pickens Savings and Loan Mobile Deposits. Please check with your wireless provider about carrier and web access charges.
Mobile Deposits are limited to a total of $1,500 per day. Deposit limits are subject to change from time to time and may vary depending on account type.
There is no limit on the number of checks you may deposit, as long as you have not exceeded your daily total deposit amount.
Your scanned check is transmitted securely through the Pickens Savings & Loan Mobile App. It is encrypted and pictures are never stored on your mobile device.
Ensure that the image of the check is clear.
Ensure all four corners are inside the guide markers.
Have good lighting with no shadows covering the check.
If the check is wrinkled, make sure to flatten it before taking a picture.
Ensure there is good contrast between the check and the background surface.
